So... it would appear that i'm not very good at blogging quickly, but my intention is to get better and at least i have a blog now! A few weeks ago, in the pouring rain i drove to Snowdownia and back in 48 hours to photograph to Festival No. 6 in the stunning village of Portmeirion in Snowdownia - one of my very favourite parts of this country. It was a bit of a mission to get there with the weather and a leap of faith as it was all a bit last minute, but what a blast - so glad i rose to the challenge! And the sun shines on the righteous i find....which it did all day Saturday. For the uninitiated, Portmerion is a unique Italian village deigned and built by architect, Sir Clough William-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 and is also where the 1960's cult TV program "The Prisoner was filmed. Festival No 6 is in it's second year and takes over the entire village - it's such a stunning backdrop for a festival. Working for Diesel who were one of the sponsors for the festival, i had such fun photographing the beautiful place and beautiful people...whats not to love ?!
