Laura and Mark's wedding fell on a beautiful summer's day in Brighton ( the sun shines on the righteous i like to think). Full of love from family and friends. It was both romantic and down to earth. Laura and Mark have been together for years , travelled the world and had many adventures , before finally settling back in Brighton and having their daughter, Lola. Another case of marrying your best friend. The ceremony was held at the elegant "Angel House" on Brighton's sea front , opposite the iconic Brighton Band stand, which we used for the large group shot . After that, everyone was shimmied on to a open top vintage bus and given a mini tour of Hove , before finally settling down for the fabulous curry at Hove and Kingsway Bowls club on the seafront . This was a wedding that made me well up quite a few times . I loved it ..
One day i will upload more! So hard to have a favourite images from this shoot as it was epic. They seem to change on a daily basis...but for now, this is my favourite (I think!) commit, commit, commit...Just peachy...
In the next few weeks, i'm shooting the look-book of the bridal collection for Hope and Harlequin, purveyor of all things fine and vintage. This image is from the last shoot we did, at Charleston House, East Sussex - home of the Bloomsbury group. Hope and Harlequin have built up a stunning wedding dress collection of made to order re-creations of stunning vintage bridal dresses - very excited to see what will come out of our next collaboration. Stay tuned for some beauty and a happy Friday to you one and all :))
It's almost at the end of summer - didn't it just fly by again? These images are from a recent wedding i have just finished editing of the lovely Nathan and Louise Andrew's. I will post the rest of the wedding very soon.
At last i have a new website. Hoorah! Typically it has come right in the middle of my busiest time of year and so my blog may be a little neglected at the beginning, but it is coming. These pics are from an engagement shoot i did a few months ago of the lovely Mark and Emma H'la. A typically windy early summer day in Brighton. We started off at Marwood's coffee shop, which is THE best and the coolest coffee shop there is going. That sheltered us for a bit, before heading out to brave the elements. They are such a fab couple with an infectious chemistry. I wish them lots of happiness for the future - they're wedding was super stylish too - i look forward to sharing the pics with you...There beautiful wedding was at The Walled Garden, Cowdray, West Sussex.
