So it's 2015! I have good feelings about this year. I turn 40 on midsummer's day (nooooo i hear you cry it can't be true!) and my little boy, Otis has started school, so it's time to get my blogging ass into gear this year. i shall be sharing a lot of shoots and weddings that i did in 2014 over the next few weeks as there's a bit of a back log and no one likes that at the start of the year!
Firstly, i am going to share with you the wedding of Amelia and Mark, which took place on a beautiful organic farm in Wales. So beautiful that i'm going back there in the Easter hols to stay with my little man as i didn't have nearly long enough there...such peace! A place to really switch off and be and lord knows we could all do with a little more of that in our lives. This wedding was a joy to shoot and Amelia, Mark and their friends and family were so much fun. I felt like a guest and friend rather than the wedding photographer.
If i ever get married, this is how i would like to do it....surrounded by friends and family in a beautiful natural spot, with a good dollop of love and laughter added into the mix. Perfect.
After a fallow period of blogging, i'm back! I haven't been doing nothing - promise! There are some shoots coming up on the blog, a backlog you could say! But wedding season is here and in full swing! To kick start the season i spent a lovely morning with this couple Sarah and Hugh who are getting married on their beautiful farm ( the stuff of my dreams ) in a couple of weeks . After initially saying they hated having their picture taken and didn't do P.D.A's , i think they did brilliantly ….Looking forward to shooting your wedding you guys :)
Well...one of my lovely new brides just went and got herself a brand new business, sourcing wedding beautiful wedding venues - nice work i say :)) So to all you couples..if you need any help finding a stunning venue, look no further than his directory. Emma has handpicked some very beautiful venues in England already. Also, if you are a venue would like to be in their directory, get in touch with Emma at Coco Wedding Venues , they are currently offering free membership to the right venues whilst the blog is launching. . I would like to wish Emma the best of luck, I think this girl is going to be very successful !
It's almost at the end of summer - didn't it just fly by again? These images are from a recent wedding i have just finished editing of the lovely Nathan and Louise Andrew's. I will post the rest of the wedding very soon.
