Intimate Sussex Ceremony

Marta and Justin were married on a beautiful spring day in April. They made their vows in front of 16 close friends and family in the beautiful church of St Mary’s in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.

Justin’s mum’s lives directly opposite, and Marta got ready there with her daughter. No stressful taxi rides in traffic , and no excuse to be late!

It feels such a privilege to be witness such an intimate wedding. No moment is missed.

After the ceremony and some group shots outside the church, everyone headed to Gravetye Manor, a michelin starred restaurant and hotel in the Ashdown Forest, East Sussex for a beautiful lunch, speeches and of course, some more pictures.

During lunch, i took the kids out in for some “air” and of course took my camera with me. I love the images that i made hanging out with Justin’s son and daughter. Kids are so fantastic to photograph….

Without the structure of a “big day” , you may think that there’s not much to photograph, but there is always atmosphere, moments and interactions. Never ever for a minute think i may not have anything to photograph…life is always happening and there is always a moment to frame.
